What’s new on the 2020 Kia Cadenza?

The Kia Cadenza is a premium sedan that is a great fit for someone who would rather not have a crossover or SUV but still wants a spacious ride. With 2020 underway, the Cadenza has seen some enhancements for the new model year, continuing to build on its legacy of a sophisticated and amenity-filled driving experience. Let’s look at what’s new on the 2020 Kia Cadenza ahead of its release later in 2020.

Exterior design

Making an impression right away, you will notice the redesigned hood and front grille of the Cadenza, which now has its vertical waterfall fascia set a little deeper. The Cadenza now has standard multi-lens LED headlights which include redesigned LED Daytime Running Lights. Another exterior change you will see right away is the front fascia that has been lowered and now has integrated turn signals. The Cadenza makes an impression as it goes as well, with the redesigned rear bumper, trunk lid, and new LED combination rear taillights making for quite an exit. The standard 18-inch wheels and available 19-inch wheels have also been redesigned.

Interior design and technology

You’ll notice even more changes inside the Cadenza, with a dash that has been totally redesigned to put everything within even more convenient reach than before. You’ll find a standard 4.2-inch TFT color screen in the instrument panel to clearly display what you need, and a new 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard. What’s more, that system allows for multi-device Bluetooth® connectivity so more than just one phone can be synchronized.

Also new is a standard Smart Key and Remote Engine Start. Three additional USB charging ports have been added, and two new Nappa leather-trimmed seating colors, Saddle Brown and Gray, are available with Limited models.

New standard safety features in the 2020 Cadenza include standard Sensor Fusion, which combines Forward Collision Warning, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian/cyclist detection, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and High Beam Assist. Lane Following Assist is also offered, as are Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist – Rear with Lane Change Assist, Safe Exit Assist, Highway Driving Assist, and Smart Cruise Control – Curve, which is navigation-based to help lower the car’s speed as it approaches a curve ahead.

We look forward to welcoming the 2020 Cadenza into our inventory later this year!
