What: One of the best celebrations in the Bay Area this St. Patrick’s Day is the annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade and Celebration. The parade will begin at the intersection of 2nd Street and Market Street and run all the way down Market Street to the Civic Center Plaza. The celebration aspect of the event will begin at 10:00 AM, while the parade will begin at 11:00 AM. The celebration will feature traditional Irish music, dancing, and a lot of beer for visitors to consume!

What: Another excellent St. Patrick’s Day celebration near Concord is the Annual St. Patrick’s Weekend Block Parties at the Irish Bank. The first block party on Saturday, the 16th begins at 12:00 PM, but the doors to the Irish Bank will open at 10:00 AM. This event will feature live entertainment by The Watch, The Shams, The Quiet Men, and DJ Marc Vanbrabant. Attendees who are 21 and older can participate in the first block party with a door charge of $15.00.

What: The second day of the Annual St. Patrick’s Weekend Block party kicks off on St. Patrick’s Day at 12:00 PM. The doors to the Irish Bank open an hour prior to the start time of the block party. During this day of the block party, The Shams, The Quiet Men, and DJ Marc Vanbrabant will return to entertain the attendees. Like the first block party, attendees 21 years old and above can enter the party for $15.00.
