The legend of the Kia model line has skyrocketed in recent years, on the backs of vehicles that are equally able to give you a safe and spacious driving experience. A champion of this shift in styling and innovation is the Kia Sorento, which returns for the 2018 model year with all that you need to make your daily drive convenient and accommodating. But just how much can you store inside this modern marvel? We’ve got your answer right here; check out the 2018 Kia Sorento seating capacity and maximum cargo area with Concord Kia today!

The answer to the question we posed above really comes in two parts. If you opt for the Sorento in either its L, LX (with a 2.4-liter engine) or EX (with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine) trims, you’ll only be able to fit five passengers inside. Anything other than that, however, and the Sorento does indeed offer a third row! This means that you’ll be able to fit up to seven passengers inside, who can relax on available stitched-leather seating.

Of course, you might find yourself in a situation where you need to bring some of your valuables and belongings along for the ride. Depending on which trim you opt for, you’ll be treated to anywhere between 11.3 and 38.8 cubic feet of cargo space, leaving ample room for you to store everything you need in the back, while keeping your passengers happy.

If it’s just you, however, fear not! You can fold every seat down inside the Sorento for a cargo volume of 73.5 cubic feet, making it one of the most spacious SUVs on the American market!
