The 2018 Kia Rio offers three trim levels: LX, S and EX. All three trim levels are equipped with a 130-hp, 1.6-liter Inline 4 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic® technology. The base model LX comes standard with a 6-speed manual transmission, but can be upgraded to automatic. The efficient engine offers drivers an EPA-estimated 28 city and 37 highway mpg.

The Rio offers a host of advanced safety technology, as well, especially the EX model, which features standard rear-camera display, Autonomous Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning System.

A 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system is featured as standard equipment along with SIRIUS® Satellite Radio and USB/auxillary inputs. The touchscreen can be upgraded to a 7-inch UVO3 system with Bluetooth® connectivity as well as Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® capability.
