2019 Optima Infotainment Updates

The Kia UVO infotainment system has been redesigned in the 2019 Kia Optima to offer car shoppers a simpler way to shop that ensures they have the features they need to be entertained when behind the wheel. The new system is tiered with three levels called UVO Play, UVO Link, and UVO Link with Navigation. Learn more about what each tier has to offer below.

UVO Play – UVO Play is the most basic version of the infotainment system and provides Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability only. UVO Play comes standard on the 2019 Optima’s base LX trim and allows drivers to seamlessly pair their smartphone to the Optima’s dashboard for a hands-free connected experience.

UVO Link - The 2019 Optima’s S and EX trims will come standard with UVO Link that adds additional convenience features on top of the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. UVO Link includes diagnostic readings, maintenance alerts, security notifications, speed alerts, and remote features including lock and unlock.

UVO Link with Navigation – Drivers interested in the Kia MY POI and Map Care navigation features can find them in the top-of-the-line UVO Link with Navigation tier that comes standard on SX and SXL trims. It’s also included in the available Premium Package for EX trim models.
