We love the Seltos and the Sportage. Ultimately, your choice is going to come down to your specific driving needs and preferences. The base engine of the Sportage will crank out more horsepower than the base engine of the Seltos, with 181 horsepower in the base Sportage compared to the 147 horsepower in the base Seltos. The Seltos provides a bit more in fuel economy though, but both crossovers are actually quite efficient. If you plan to tow anything, you’ll want to go with the Sportage, which is rated to tow up to 2,000 pounds when properly equipped with Trailer Brakes. The Seltos is not rated for towing.
The Seltos offers five trims: LX, S, EX, S Turbo, and SX Turbo. The Sportage is available in four trims: LX, S, EX, and SX Turbo. Each trim of the Seltos and Sportage offers a unique spin on the model, and you’ll be sure to experience some of the best technology and features Kia has to offer no matter your selection. Some of the available features on both models include a standard eight-inch touch-screen display with a rear camera, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, Lane Keeping Technology, and more.
Whether it’s the Seltos or the Sportage that strikes your fancy, you will be able to experience a spirited ride and useful versatility. If you are in the Concord area, contact us to learn more about either of these vehicles.
