For the first time in the brief time the Stinger has been available, the 2022 model will make at least 300 horsepower across the board. The new entry-level power plant now consists of a turbocharged 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that will produce the aforementioned 300 horsepower as well as 311 pound-feet of torque. Buyers looking for more performance will be able to choose the GT1 or GT2 with a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter, V-6 mill that will produce 368 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. According to the automaker, a 2022 Stinger with the four-cylinder engine can reach up to 130 miles per hour and models with the V-6 will be able to achieve up to 167 mph when using low-resistance summer tires.

The new four-cylinder engine will be able to post 22 miles per gallon in the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway when using rear-wheel-drive. Buyers who take home the V-6-version can expect to see 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. Both power plants can also use all-wheel-drive which will post only slightly lower fuel-economy scores.

Every 2022 Stinger will be equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen interface that will support the Kia navigation system as well as smartphone integration. All three trim grades will offer access to the Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® suites of applications. A wireless charging tray for compatible smartphones is also a widely available feature in the 2022 Kia Stinger. Finally, the entire 2022 Stinger lineup will be equipped with every Advanced Driver Assistance System feature.
