Stars and Stripes Run, Fireworks and Parade
The Fourth of July carries a special significance for us here in Concord, as we’ll be celebrating the city’s 150th birthday. To honor the heritage of our town, you’re invited to take part in Concord’s annual Stars and Stripes Run, starting at 6:45. Immediately following, you can catch a parade at 10 and an official unveiling of the statue commemorating Don Salvio Pacheco (one of Concord’s founding fathers) at Todos Santos Plaza. Altogether, it’s sure to be a great time!
Mount Diablo High School 4th of July Festival and Fireworks
For the last five years, Mount Diablo High School in Concord has entertained so many with its annual 4th of July Festival, the home of the Concord Home Town Picnic starting at 4pm after the run and parade. This celebration will be complete with a carnival, food trucks and booths, art vendors, live music and a firework display to cap it all off. It’s also a free show, so don’t miss out on the fun with the whole community!
